Social Responsibility

Towne Mall is proud to be a community partner. We strive to meet community challenges through a combination of employee volunteerism, financial support, in-kind donations and partnerships with non-profit organizations which have missions consistent with our vision and values. We have established long-term affiliations with a variety of prominent organizations such as Step Up Women’s Network.

Community Partnerships

United Way of Central Kentucky
Through partnership with the United Way, Towne Mall can reach out to community organizations throughout the region.  Our employees have committed to volunteering time at agencies under the United Way of Central Kentucky umbrella, such as America's Second Harvest, Helping Hand of the Heartland, and SpringHaven Domestic Violence Program.

Junior Achievement of Hardin County
Towne Mall Kids Club makes quarterly financial contributions to Junior Achievement of Hardin County made possible by donations from Kids Club members.  These gifts help provide the materials for Junior Achievement economic programs for students in Hardin County.

Fountain Money Program
When someone makes a wish in the Towne Mall fountain, where does that money go?  Towne Mall donates all fountain money to local non-profit organizations.

Contribution Requests

Each year, Towne Mall will contribute a preset amount of funds in the form of Gift Cards, merchandise and use of property to a diverse group of organizations. Hundreds of requests are anticipated each year. Donation recipients may include civil organizations' education programs; food banks; foundations; hospitals and healthcare organizations; youth programs; performing arts and museums and many more. Each request is reviewed carefully, however, not all requests can be granted.
